Adam Eccleston, flute

As a soloist, chamber and orchestral musician, Mr. Eccleston has performed as soloist with the Purchase College Symphony Orchestra and the New England Conservatory Orchestra. He has performed in venues such as the Kurhaus Wiesbaden, Carnegie Hall, the Isabella Steward Gardner Museum, Strathmore Music Center, Symphony Hall Boston, Casino Kursaal in Switzerland and Palais Montcalm. Mr. Eccleston has served under esteemed conductors Valery Gergiev, Hugh Wolff and Benjamin Zander.

He has received top prizes in The Young & Talented Musician Competition, the Mozart Concerto Competition in Germany, Purchase Symphony Orchestra Concerto Competition, the Purchase College Baroque Concerto Competition, the New England Conservatory Concerto Competition and a prize in the New York Flute Club Competition.

Presently, Mr. Eccleston is principal flute of The Eastern Festival Symphony Orchestra and was principal flutist of the chamber orchestra Discovery Ensemble. He is a graduate from New England Conservatory and frequently teaches throughout the USA and travels overseas to Europe, the Caribbean and South America for performances and master classes.
